Well needed Def for my truck to get home, was in Fernley and headed to the dealership and also called on my way over there,, well I pulled up as they answer my call an I tell the guy I need def for my under warranty dodge pickup. Here it is at 6:30pm, wore out trying to get home and the dodge employee tells me there's no one in parts dept. They are closed... so I say can't you find any mopar def anywhere, maybe in the shop? Nope nothing I can do for you, he says.. then he says to go buy some from other kind of def from some place else.. Well I said I can't cause if do and something goes wrong with the def system I pay out of my pocket to have it fixed,, which happened already before i knew about fluids to use while under
I've purchased a few vehicles in my life, but this is the first time it was actually fun. John, Rod, Ronnie, Matt, and Mathew were patient, professional and answered all of my questions. Not only did I get the Jeep I wanted, in the color I wanted, I got payments I can afford at a great interest rate. Just a helpful hint, though...If you find something you want to buy, be sure to Google the VIN number and look for a sale. Stopped by to see what was available, drove away with a new Jeep! Completed happy with the entire buying experience. Our Sales Representative, Jason Tate, was awesome. He never once rushed us and spent the better part of the day helping us. He was so very helpful and we truly appreciate his kindness. We also got to meet the "TV Star" Moe. What a great guy, so much fun. Since we own two other jeeps we are familiar with the Service Department and think they are the best! We have known Pat, Service Manager, for many years since he was in Reno and we have always been very pleased with his assistance and professionalism. Met Charles, the front desk service manger yesterday, he was just great with his assistance taking care of a small problem with one of our older Jeeps. Totally recommend Fernley Jeep.
The entire staff was awesome from start to finish! They answered every question, in a no pressure environment, and were helpful in every way. We drove out happy with our second purchase from Fernley Dodge.
This was a two-day process of walking out due to inability to reach anything close to an agreement and then being told wrong info. First, we were told that we are approved for a rate that ended up being “the other guys fault” for putting in the wrong type of loan. The lower rate was the reason we came back in the first place. After waiting for a better part of two hours, we were then informed of “the other guys fault” with no clear intentions to try and make up for the “rookie mistake”. Soon after my husband and I step outside to call our bank to check in on a lower rate, which we were approved for. Upon my husband telling the sales man of the news that our bank beat all three of theirs, the sales man decided to practically call my husband a liar and wanted “paper proof” of the lower rate. As my husband started to reach for his phone to have the bank send up a letter via email, the sales man promptly changed the issue as if he was trying to call a bluff and was wrong. Second, my husband is a military man that has worked very hard to provide everything he could for myself, child, and soon to be newborn and our safety is his number one priority. So, when the sales man and him really started to talk and “your wife should hear a recording of what you just said and slap you (I was right next to him) because you basically said you don’t care about their safety for letting them drive around in a two-wheel drive truck” was said, I was floored. I have never heard anything more disrespectful be said to a someone that is trying to sell someone a product. To add to the complete sense of an unprofessional manner , the sales man felt it to be appropriate to say “what if our idiot president sent you off to war and your wife is now at home with a two-wheeled drive truck?”. All in all, I felt completely uncomfortable with the entire situation and would not recommend this place to anyone, especially military.
Warranty and so $600 dollars later when service def system by dealership info came up in my dash read out and They told me i needed def system unplugged and flushed,,,But if it was mopar def it would of been covered under warranty. So the dodge guy said huh wow i didn't know that,, and there is nothing I can do still. So I had to leave my $ 50,000 dollar truck in the parking lot till 8am when they open up, and get a ride home... THANKS DODGE TEAM,,, THANKS...
